Station Maps for the Occultation by (10734) Wieck
        at Friday, 2008 February 08  (~ 17:55 UT)

NORTH and SOUTH

This occultation was predicted first by Andrey Plekhanov with LinOccult. His calculation shows a path 38 km more to the East (perpendicular to the path) compared to Steve's prediction.
The probabilities to see a positive event are very small but nearly equal for all observers inside the limits.

V-Magnitude of target star HIP 22157: 5.4  mag
Spectral Type: A0
Johnson B-V Colour Index: + 0.2

The max duration is expected to be 2.0 sec with a max drop of 12.7 mag.
The event will take place at an altitude of 54 deg and at azimuth 146 deg. The sun will be at an altitude of -10 deg. (At predicted centre line for longitude E 05 deg).

There is a 1 sigma uncertainty interval of  ±  15.6 path widths.
The probabilities to see a positive event:

Centre line: ~ 3 %
Path limits: ~ 3 %
1 sigma lines:  ~ 2 %
2 sigma lines:  ~ 1 %

(Calculation according to Raymond Dusser, E.A.O.N. Circular #10)

PLEASE REMEMBER: Predictions are sometimes wrong. Please observe even with a small probability.
