Attention

The orientation of the visual impression is like a visual observation with a refractor. South is on top and east is on the right side.
For a further scientific use of the images it is very important to start the recording about 5min to 10min before the event and stop it about 5min to 10min after the event. This gives important information about the quality and stability of your recordings and provides some "zero" line of the lightcurve. Pay also attention not to saturate the moons in your image. Whenever possible record in the images a reference object such as another Jovian satellite. Please find more information on the special website from IMCCE.
