Missing Lunar Grazing Occultations of the Last 35 Years

Dave Herald and Dave Gault (Australia) have started to complete the list of lunar grazing occultations of the past. A list has been compiled, which has more than 200 entries of the years 1974 to 2003. There are also a few grazing observations from Europe missing. Everybody, who has any information or is able to present the results of these reported grazing expeditions, should immediately contact either myself (info@iota-es.de) or Dave Herald or Dave Gault.

Here you find the letter from Dave Gault about these missing reports:

Dear All,

It has come to my attention that many graze observation reports dating from the 1970s have not made it into the archive of observations.   I have compiled a list by way of using the Occultation Newsletter (ON) Summary of Grazes as a cross reference to the records in the archive.

Sadly, for the period 1974 to 1985 (the period reviewed so far) I have identified 210 graze reports missing.  That means individual reports from 722 stations and 2983 events missing from our archive.   I fear that the list will grow as we continue to work through the archive.     It also means that pre 1974 there is no method of cross reference that I know of but I'm sure there must be missing reports from that era as well.

Regards
DaveGault

Here you find the list of those events, which were observed from Europe:
