Occultation by 2002KX14 on the night of 15-16 April
From Diane Berard we got the following information about an upcoming occultation:
There is a very nice occultation by 2002KX14 during the night of April 15-16 of s R=15 magnitude star. Predictions made with UCAC4 place the occultation right above Spain and North America but with a big uncertainties, so the entire Europe could be concerned. New measurements at La Silla last week give us an update of the star which bring the shadow above Africa with uncertainties around 30 mas. We will have an update of the orbit of 2002KX14 in the next few days.
Breaking News (13th of April 2016))
The last prediction shows a drastic shift toward the south so instead of being above Europe, the occultation could be visible from Namibia.
